Key Responsibilities — Assistant Lecturer
  • Assist in the delivery of lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions under the supervision of senior academic staff
  • Prepare teaching materials and assist in the design of course content
  • Mark scripts and provide feedback on student assignments
  • Engage in research and work towards the completion of doctoral (Ph.D.) studies
  • Support departmental academic activities and contribute to student mentoring
Key Responsibilities — Assistant Librarian
  • Assist in providing library and information services to students and academic staff
  • Support cataloguing, classification, and acquisition of library materials
  • Assist in delivering user education and information literacy programmes
  • Help maintain library collections and ensure materials are accessible and properly organised
  • Contribute to the development and management of digital library resources

Job Requirement

  • A Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognised university is mandatory
  • An NYSC exemption, discharge, or exclusion certificate is mandatory
  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in or intend to pursue a doctoral (Ph.D.) programme will be given preference
  • Strong academic record and genuine commitment to university teaching and/or research
