Job Description

Amadeus University invites applications for the position of Computer Systems Engineer II. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, systems, and related infrastructure across the University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, systems, and peripheral equipment across University facilities
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and systems-related faults in a timely manner
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure upgrades and expansions
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware assets, configurations, and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with the ICT team on network, software, and security matters affecting computer systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end users on hardware and systems issues
  • Ensure that all computer systems operate in compliance with University IT standards and policies
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware solutions to meet departmental and institutional requirements

Job Requirement

  • An Honours Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognised university
  • Eligibility for registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is mandatory
  • Relevant experience in computer systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is required
  • NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (or evidence of exclusion)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
