Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the relevant discipline
  • Conduct and publish research in reputable, peer-reviewed journals
  • Supervise undergraduate final-year projects and postgraduate research students
  • Contribute to course and curriculum development and review
  • Participate in departmental and faculty administration and committee work
  • Engage in scholarly activities including attendance and presentation at academic conferences
  • Assist in attracting research grants and partnerships
  • Provide academic mentoring and guidance to students and junior colleagues

Job Requirement

  • A doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in the relevant field from a recognised university is mandatory
  • A minimum of six (6) years of post-qualification experience in teaching and research in a university
  • An adequate and verifiable record of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals
  • Registration with the relevant professional association(s) in the discipline is required
